Motor controller Booster
Why use this booster - If you have a tiny motor controller that was dimensioned for a single SPEED400 motor and you suddenly find a nice 4 motor plane. Normally you would normally have to buy a new motor controller because the little one would burn down if it were to pull all 4 SPEED 400 / SPEED 480 motors at the same time. But motor controllers that has the capacity to pull 4 motors are very expensive, and you would still have the small one sitting for no use. Why buy a motor controller for each different size plane you got, instead of adding this booster to the small one you already got!!!!
The price of a single motor controller that can handle 4 SPEED 400 / SPEED 480 motors would be relatively high compared to the small amount it would take to build a booster to your already existing motor controller. Interested .... Keep reading (-:
This booster is made to be placed after a normal little motor controller, so the little motor controller is controlling the booster. At the present time there are not implemented a brake function, but this might come in the future.
- HOW TO DETERMINE IF THE MOTOR CONTROLLER WILL WORK WITH THIS BOOSTER:
If the above is not the case, the motor controller is build up in another way than normal, and would not be working with this booster.
Note: Since I have never bought a motor controller in my life, and have always build my own, it is not certain the this booster will work on the motor controllers you buy in stores. these motor controllers often use PWM in a much higher frequency that I use on my constructions. It is not said that they WILL NOT WORK, but I have just not tried it. So if you have tried it on a motor controller you have bought Please email be , and I will very happy about the news.
The booster has been tested on a Model Cargo plane, where it successfully pulled 4 Speed400 Motors with prop.

If I find that several persons are requesting another booster type surely I can make it suit any abnormal requirements. (-:
- HOW TO FIT THE BOOSTER.
(REMEMBER THE 1N5822 or equiv. on motors, or motor controller will not last longer than 20 sec.!!!)
View Schematics. (The schematic is made with only 3 FETs, but many more can be connected, its just a matter of your application.- A 5 FET version was used to pull 4 Speed400 Motors with Prop.
Future Improvements:
Due to the fact that the development of this Booster was done in 10 minutes it does not have a brake, but the future booster will without a doubt have a brake fitted.
