Frame:

The frame was in OK condition, as far as I could tell all the threads were intact (they have apparently outlasted the threads on my KG500 frame!!) only two minor findings. The rear 3 cm of the frame were slightly bend, probably caused by transportation, and quickly fixed. And the lowest hook for holding the tire pump was broken off. A new has been made, and just needs to be welded on.

The Bike is taking shape (use your imagination).

Front fork:

The front forks has been modified by a previous owner. An extra piece of metal has been welded on the left side of the forks, but since the Ariel only uses the right side for mounting the brake mechanism, the other sides plate is removed.
