1931 Ariel SQ4 - Reproducing the hand change/gear changer bar

For starters I need to recreate the handchange mounting point on the frame. It was removed at some point in time to accomodate for the new and very popular foot gear change.

112-1288_IMG.JPG (53766 bytes) In this picture of the frame, you can se the joint have been cut off.

This is how its supposed to look (With curtesey of Otto Mederle, Ole Sørensen, Huw Parsons):

dcx40004.jpg (758650 bytes) dcx40006.jpg (575600 bytes) dcx40010.jpg (771505 bytes) dcx40011.jpg (815036 bytes) dcx40012.jpg (833952 bytes) dcx40013.jpg (907124 bytes) dcx40014.jpg (912533 bytes) dcx40015.jpg (926821 bytes) img_0348.jpg (712851 bytes) img_0349.jpg (955379 bytes) img_0350.jpg (472370 bytes) konus for center på arm.JPG (436742 bytes)  Now I have a visual on the missing part, now I need the actual Measurements of the thing, so that I can reproduce it and weld it back on the bike frame.

With great help from Ole Sørensen, I was able to make a CAD drawing of the missing frame stud, and the required fittings. The drawing looks like the following (Click for bigger size):

If you want it a CAD format, please download this file.

Also I need to reproduce the handchange bar needed on the bike. I will make a pair both for the 1931 model tank, but also for the 1932 model tank.
